How to reserve books from your Learning Centre.
1) Open the LRC Catalogue
Use the direct link here to go to the LRC Catalogue: http://mertmo.cirqahosting.com/
2) Login to your LRC Account
Login using your Student ID Number.

3) Search the Catalogue
Enter the title, author or keyword(s) of the book(s) you are looking for in the search box and then click on the magnifying glass.

You will see more search options if you click on the build a search button.
4) Find a Book
You will see a list of books. Scroll down to the book that you would like.

Under Availability you can see if the book is Available (on the shelf and we can get it for you) or On Loan (someone else has borrowed it and we will let you know when they bring it back).
You will also see which Colleges have a copy of the book. Students at South Thames, Merton and Carshalton can reserve books from each other's Learning Centres.
E-books
You might find that the book you need is available as an e-book. This is great news because you will be able to read it much quicker.
Click on these links for advice on using your LRC e-books:

5) Reserve your book
Click on the book you want and then click the Reserve button.

6) Ready for Collection
We will contact you on your college email address to let you know that your book is ready to collect from your Learning Centre. Then you can just come and collect it from the Help Desk.
Please make sure that you check your college email regularly for an update from your Learning Centre.
