The LRC subscribes to a large number of online resources to support you in your learning.

Our Online Library Includes:







eBooks

Access over 1,500 of your key textbooks available to read online, anywhere, at any time, absolutely free!

To access these resources, sign in using your college email address and normal password.

We use two main websites to host our eBooks, Ebook central and VLEBooks. You can also use the LRC Catalogue to search all available eBooks in one place, simply change the media type to E-Book:

Academic Journals

Journals are like magazines but focusing on more academic topics. An issue of a journal will contain numerous articles written by different authors and can be available online or in print format. Journals are different from books in that the publication is on-going and can focus on very specific areas of research.

A well organised online encyclopaedia. All articles are fully referenced and meet academic standards.



Hairdressing Training

Curriculum mapped hairdressing and barbering resources, including videos, step-by-step guides, and activities.



Issues Online

An interactive resource containing articles, infographics and information on hundreds of social issues.

To access outside college, use the Shibboleth login, find South Thames Colleges Group from the search list and sign in with your college email address and normal password.



Maths Watch

Online Maths tutorials, videos and worksheets for GCSE / Functional Skills Maths students.

To get log-in details, please speak to your maths tutor.


National Theatre Collection

Drawing on 10 years of NT Live broadcasts, the National Theatre Collection contains 30 filmed performances.
