How do I print?

To print you must be on a college computer. If you have images or files on your phone, you will need to email them to your college email address and download them on a college computer.

When you have your file open that you would like to print, go to file and print.

Select either of these two printers:

KMFP Black and White

or

KMFP Colour

Once you are happy with your print settings, select 'Print' and you are then ready to retrieve your printing.

Retrieving your Printing:

Once you have selected the option to print, your print job will be stored for up to 24 hours, so you don't need to retrieve your printing straight away.

Go to your nearest printer in the Learning Centre and tap your student ID card on the card reader.

If you have documents waiting to print, then your screen will look like this below:

Use the print release button, on the left-hand side to print your work.

Print Credit:

You get £10 of print credit free in September. At February half term you get an additional £5 added, so in total over the academic year you will get £15 worth of print credit.

How much does printing cost?

Black and white - 5p per A4 sheet

Colour - 10p per A4 sheet

*A3 is twice this price.

At first, when you print this cost will come off your £10 of free print credit so you won't have to pay anything. If you are sensible with your printing / photocopying this should last you a long time.

Topping Up Your Print Credit:

If you have run out of print credit, then you will need to pay for more.

You can speak to a member of your Learning Centre team, or you can phone: 0208 268 3052 and someone will take a payment from you over the phone.
